TEHRAN, Aug. 06 (YPA) – Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence announced on Thursday the arrest of 21 individuals accused of links to Israeli occupation’s Mossad intelligence agency, along with four alleged members of armed groups in the southeastern province of Kerman.
According to a ministry statement carried by Iran’s official news agency, security forces detained a key collaborator and 20 other Mossad-linked operatives during intelligence operations conducted across the province.
The statement added that the principal suspect had gathered information on sensitive military and defense sites and transmitted it to Israeli intelligence.
It also noted that several of the detained individuals had used online platforms to identify and share details of strategic and security-related locations during the US aggression.
Furthermore, Iranian authorities said four armed suspects were arrested and a quantity of weapons and ammunition was seized.
The ministry’s statement noted that four military-grade firearms had also been confiscated from five armed anti-government suspects in connection with a separate case dating back to January.
