About 61 citizens killed, 397 wounded in fresh Israeli offensives

GAZA, June 17 (YPA) – The death toll from the genocidal war by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 55,493, with 129,330 wounded.

The Gaza-based Palestinian Ministry of Health on Tuesday that hospitals in the Strip have received 61 martyrs in the past 24 hours and 397 wounded, as a result of the ongoing aerial and artillery bombardment, as well as gunfire from military vehicles across the Gaza Strip.

The statement revealed also that 400 others have been killed by the Israeli soldiers since establishing while humanitarian aid center.

This came as the occupation authorities have tightly closed Gaza’s crossings to trucks carrying supplies and aid, which have been piling up at the border since March 2, 2025. Only a few dozen trucks have been allowed to enter, despite the fact that Palestinians in Gaza need at least 500 trucks per day.
