SANAA, June 02 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning warned citizens on Monday of a widespread dust wave sweeping Hadramout and Mahra provinces.
In its weather bulletin, the center urged residents of these two provinces to take necessary precautions and avoid direct exposure to dust, especially the elderly, children, and those with respiratory illnesses.
It also warned citizens in areas where rainfall expected to avoid entering floodwaters during and after rainfall.
The center predicted that the weather would be dusty to very hot in the desert areas, with maximum temperatures ranging between 39 and 45 degrees Celsius, and moderate to active winds.
It pointed out that the weather in the highlands would be clear during the night and early morning, with scattered showers on the provinces of Ibb, Taiz, Dhalea, Dhamar, Lahj and Abyan, Saada, Amran, Hajjah, Mahweet, Sanaa, Rayma, Bayda and Shabwa.
