UKMTO: Small boat hits vessel near UAE Jebel Ali port

LONDON, May 11 (YPA) – The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) said on Sunday it had received reports of an incident 80 nautical miles off UAE’s Jebel Ali port.

UKMTO explained that the captain of one of the vessels reported a small craft colliding with his vessel and attempting to collide with other vessels in the area, adding that the crew was seen being safely transferred to another vessel.

It advised vessels passing through the area to exercise caution and report any suspicious activities.
