Sirens sound in capital Sanaa

SANAA, April 06 (YPA) – The Civil Defense Authority in the capital, Sanaa, activated sirens along the main waterway in the capital city on Sunday evening, urging citizens to take necessary precautions and exercise caution.

In an urgent statement, the authority warned citizens to stay away from flood paths and waterways during rainfall. It urged citizens to avoid crossing valleys and ravines during rainy conditions, as such actions pose a grave risk to lives.

It also advised drivers to be extra cautious while driving during rainfall due to reduced visibility, which can lead to accidents.
