Protest rally before White House to reject Zionist war of extermination on Gaza, arrest of activists
SANAA, April 06 (YPA) – The US capital, Washington, witnessed a massive demonstration in which thousands of activists and members of the Palestinian, Arab, and Islamic communities from most states participated, rejecting the criminal war waged by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians and pressuring the administration of President Donald Trump to rein in the extremist right-wing Israeli government, which continues its crimes.
During the demonstration, which is considered one of the largest since October 2023, the activists expressed their rejection of the arrest and prosecution of students who support Palestinian rights at American universities and the need to end US military and material support for the occupation, which contributes to the continuation of the genocide in Gaza.
As an expression of the crimes committed in the Strip, the activists placed children’s shoes in the streets leading to the White House, representing part of the stories of the thousands of children who were martyred in Gaza during this aggression, and they raised a huge banner bearing the names of the martyrs.
Other US cities witnessed protests against the war and the escalating Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, as part of the “Global Day of Action” to demand an immediate end to the war.
