Man kills 2 brothers because of video game in Hadramout

HADRAMOUT, March 20 (YPA) – A man in his fifties killed two young men, because of a dispute over the popular video game “PUBG,” in Hadramout Valley, eastern Yemen.

Human rights sources in the governorate reported that a citizen, whose name was not mentioned, killed the two brothers, Ali Muhammad Ba Salib, 20 years old, and Majid, 17 years old, after they refused to allow his son to join them in playing PUBG in the village of Al-Hala in Wadi Amd.

Sources reported that the incident occurred shortly before iftar time, adding a tragic dimension to the incident during the holy month of Ramadan, when the atmosphere is supposed to be filled with tolerance and compassion.

The incident sparked shock and anger among local residents, who described it as horrific and unjustified.

The suspect turned himself in to local authorities after committing the crime against the two young men, the sources pointed out.
