WEST BANK, March 12 (YPA) – In the early hours of Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces launched a series of incursions into various areas of the West Bank. T
The operations included the demolition of a martyr’s home in Qalqilya and the arrest of several Palestinian youths after raiding their homes.
In Nablus, the occupation forces stormed the Balata refugee camp east of the city and arrested a citizen from his home in the camp, taking him to an unknown location.
The forces also arrested another citizen after raiding his home during an incursion into the Rafidia neighborhood west of Nablus.
Additionally, the occupation forces raided the home of the Kassab family in Balata al-Balad east of Nablus, with reports emerging of an assault on one of its members.
In Qalqilya, the occupation forces demolished the home of the family of martyr Ali Khalil in the Sofin area.
Khalil was one of the perpetrators of the “Street 22” operation in Qalqilya city, which resulted in the death of a settler.
On August 3, 2024, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced the martyrdom of Khalil along with three of his comrades following an assassination operation carried out by occupation aircraft on a vehicle they were traveling in near Tulkarm.
At the time, Al-Qassam claimed responsibility for the shooting operation that led to the death of settler Amnon Meikhtar in Qalqilya on June 22 of the same year.
In Tulkarm, the occupation forces arrested Ahmed Zayt, the brother of martyr Nour Zayt, during a raid into the Shweika neighborhood of the city.
In Ramallah, the occupation forces arrested journalist Ahmed Al-Khatib from his home in the town of Beitunia west of the city.
In Jenin, the occupation forces stormed the town of Qabatiya south of the city, accompanied by military bulldozers that began destroying infrastructure and tearing up streets.
In Hebron, local sources reported that the occupation forces arrested a citizen from his home in the town of Sa’ir north of Hebron.
