Israeli aggression on Jenin enters 45th day

WEST BANK, March 06 (YPA) – The occupation army continued its aggression on the city of Jenin and its refugee camp in the northern West Bank on Thursday, for the 45th consecutive day, leaving 31 martyrs and massive destruction in homes and infrastructure.

Last night, the occupation army notified 8 Palestinian families living around the Jenin camp to evacuate their homes before Thursday evening.

According to Palestinian sources, Israeli occupation  forces demanded that families in the Jabariyat neighborhood surrounding the Jenin camp evacuate their homes in preparation for turning them into military barracks.

The occupation army has been using some of the homes and buildings overlooking the camp as military points and preventing residents from returning to them.

The media committee in the Jenin camp reported that the occupation army had completely destroyed more than 120 homes and partially damaged dozens of other homes within the camp.

The media committee confirmed that the aggression on Jenin has displaced 20,000 people from the camp, who have sought refuge in shelters and the homes of relatives.
