WEST BANK, March 06 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces launched a wide-scale detention campaign, from yesterday evening until Thursday morning, that targeted at least 30 Palestinians from the West Bank, including children and former prisoners.
The Commission of Prisoners’ Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) explained that the detentions took place across the governorates of Hebron, Bethlehem, Tulkarm, Qalqilya, Nablus, Ramallah, Salfit, and Jerusalem.
Meanwhile, the occupation continues to implement its military aggression on the governorates of Jenin and Tulkarm for weeks, accompanied by systematic detentions and field investigations, which have affected dozens of families, in addition to detaining citizens as hostages and turning homes into military outposts, in addition to the deliberate destruction of infrastructure.
It is worth noting that the occupation forces are carrying out systematic detentions and field investigations, as one of the most prominent fixed policies, which have escalated in an unprecedented manner after the war of extermination, not only in terms of the number of detainees, but also in terms of the level of crimes committed by the occupation.
