Gaza’s GMO: The closure of Kerem Shalom border crossing by occupation “illegal and inhumane”

GAZA, March 04 (YPA) -The Government Media Office (GMO) in Gaza deemed, on Tuesday,  the closure of the Kerem Shalom crossing by the occupying authorities to be illegal and inhumane, further exacerbating the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement, GMO explained that the continued closure of the Kerem Shalom crossing deepens the famine crisis with a shortage of supplies and a lack of alternatives.

It added that 24,000 patients and injured individuals in the Gaza Strip need treatment outside of Gaza.
