SHABWA, Feb. 26 (YPA) – Balharith tribes in Osailan district of Shabwa governorate, gave the oil company in the Jannah field a 48-hour deadline to completely stop work until it fulfills its promises regarding electricity services to citizens.
The tribal gunmen threatened to cut off the power transmission lines to the Masbah and Al-Nasr fields, just like the Dhahba power station, after 24 hours of the deadline.
They threatened to carry out further escalation actions against the company if their demands, which the company had made clear to the tribe’s sons, to provide electricity to Osailan directorate were not met.
The deadline is set to expire this afternoon, without any response from the company to Belharith’s legitimate demands.
