Dust wave expected to sweep several desert areas

SANAA, Feb. 26 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology and Early Warning expected on Wednesday a dust wave sweeping desert areas.

In its weather bulletin, the center also warned children, the elderly and chest patients of dust raised in those areas.

The bulletin expected also relatively clear and cold weather in various parts of Saada, Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar and Bayda with the possibility of low clouds interspersed with rainy cumulus clouds in the afternoon in parts of the western and southwestern mountain range.

It indicated that the weather in the coastal areas would be clear to partly cloudy and relatively dusty, with the possibility of scattered rain on parts of the western coasts and the inland areas, adding that the winds would be active in the south of the west coast and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, reaching a maximum speed of 25 knots.

The bulletin pointed out that the desert areas were characterized by clear and dusty weather, and the light to moderate winds reaching a maximum speed of 20 knots.
