GAZA, Feb. 25 (YPA) – At least 160 Gaza health workers, including over 20 doctors, have been held inside the Israeli prisons and detention facilities, with the World Health Organization expressing deep concern for their safety.
According to British daily newspaper, The Guardian, 24 others were missing after being transferred from hospitals during the conflict.
For its part, the World Health Organization (WHO) said about 297 health care workers from Gaza have been detained by the Israeli military since the war on Gaza began, but the organization did not have updated data on how many have been released and how many remain in detention.
