GMO: 69 children die from malnutrition in Gaza

GAZA, July 18 (YPA) -The Government Media Office (GMO) in the Gaza Strip announced on Friday that the number of children who have died as a result of malnutrition in the Gaza Strip has risen to 69, while the number of deaths caused by the lack of food and medicine has reached 620 patients

GMO published shocking figures related to the starvation catastrophe facing the Gaza Strip:

(139) days since the complete closure of all Gaza border crossings by the occupation.

(76,450) humanitarian aid and fuel trucks prevented by the occupation from entering over the past 139 days.

(42) community kitchens targeted by the occupation as part of its starvation policy.

(57) aid and food distribution centers targeted by the occupation in the same context.

(121) instances of aid convoys and humanitarian shipments being attacked by the occupation.

(877) martyrs killed by the occupation at the so-called “American-Israeli aid centers” — death traps — with over (5,666) wounded and 42 missing.

(650,000) children are at risk of death due to malnutrition, hunger, and food scarcity.

(12,500) cancer patients are facing death and in urgent need of treatment and nutrition.

(60,000) pregnant women are at risk due to lack of healthcare and food.

The Government Media Office strongly condemned the ongoing crime and hold the “Israeli” occupation fully responsible, as well as the countries complicit in this genocide through silence, complicity, or direct support — foremost among them the United States, Germany, and France.

” We hold them historically accountable for this escalating humanitarian disaster.”

It called on the international community and the free nations of the world to take urgent action to end the starvation policy, save the remaining innocent lives being annihilated before the world’s eyes and ears.

GMO also demanded the immediate opening of the crossings, the lifting of the siege, and the swift and urgent entry of humanitarian aid.
