Saudi warplanes launch new airstrikes on Yemen’s Jawf

JAWF, Sept. 20 (YPA) – Saudi warplanes launched new airstrikes on Yemen on Sunday, targeting several telecommunications towers in the northern province of Jawf.

A security source in Jawf reported that the Saudi strikes targeted telecommunications towers in the Salbah and Rahub areas of Al-Anan district, as well as a tower in Al-Marashi and another in Al-Zahir.

According to a statement issued Saturday by Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, military spokesman for the Sanaa forces, these airstrikes are part of recent Saudi aerial escalations, which he said have reached 732 airstrikes so far, resulting in civilian casualties and damage to civilian infrastructure.
