Clear to cold weather expected in various areas of Yemen

SANAA, Feb. 06 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected on Thursday clear to cold weather sweeping several areas of Yemeni provinces.

In its weather bulletin, the center affirmed that The weather is relatively cold in the highlands of Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran and Saada, Hajjah, Mahweet, Rayma, Ibb, Dhalea, Lahj and Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra.

It stated that the weather in the coastal areas would be clear to partly cloudy, with the winds in the southern Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab Strait.

The center renewed its warnings to citizens in mountainous areas and highlands of the cold weather during the night and early morning hours, especially the elderly, children, patients and workers.
