SANAA, Feb. 04 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology warned on Wednesday of continuing to sweep a cold wave.
In its weather bulletin, the center affirmed that the cold weather would prevail over the provinces of Bayda, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran, Saada, Jawf and Marib, with the possibility of frost to form, as well as the highlands of Ibb, Dhalea, Lahj and Abyan, Shabwa, Hadramout and Mahra, Hajjah, Mahweet, Rayma and Taiz.
It warned also citizens in mountainous areas and highlands of the very cold weather during the night and early morning hours, especially the elderly, children, patients and workers.
The center pointed out that the weather in the coastal areas would be generally clear to partly cloudy, with active winds reaching a maximum speed of 28 knots in the southern Red Sea and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab.
