Dozens of workers in Hadramout’s oil blocks stage protest rally

HADRAMOUT, Feb. 03 (YPA) – Dozens of workers in three oil blocks in Hadramout provinces staged a protest rally in front of the Ministry of Oil of the coalition-backed Aden government.

The protesters explained that the Ministry of Oil seeks to operate oil blocks “32, 40, 47” without returning them to their previous jobs.

They affirmed that the ministry worked to operate the “Salsala” oil field, affiliated with Blocks “32”, in a secret manner without regard to the workers’ job rights.

The workers stressed the need to merge the Block “32 and 43” into the Petromasila company, similar to the rest of the Blocks.
