Hezbollah condemns inclusion of Ansar Allah in Yemen on US terrorist list

BEIRUT, Jan. 25 (YPA) – The Lebanese Hezbollah condemned on Saturday the new US administration’s decision to re-include the Ansar Allah movement in Yemen on the list of terrorism.

In a statement issued today, Hezbollah considered that an unjust classification and a direct attack on the oppressed Yemeni people who suffered and still suffer from the siege, terrorism, and continuous American aggression on its land and its capabilities for years.

Hezbollah stated that the successive U.S. governments, which have engaged in terrorism against Arab and Islamic countries and supported the Zionist entity’s attacks and wars—particularly in Lebanon and Palestine—are the ones who should be listed as terrorists.

The statement emphasized that this unjust American decision, aimed at supporting the faltering Israeli entity, would not deter honorable Yemen from backing the Palestinian people in their rightful cause and would not alter Yemen’s convictions or determination to confront American and Israeli agendas in the region.
