Sex scandal sparks dispute between UAE, Morocco

RABAT, Jan. 25 (YPA) – The UAE authorities have decided to prevent the Moroccan women from entering the country and return to Morocco by UAE airports, following the exposure of a gang rape scandal.

According to sources in the Moroccan newspaper “Sabah”, the Moroccan women presented documents proving the reason for the visit, whether for work, attending training programs, studying, or other legitimate activities, but the border police insisted on implementing the decision and returning them to Morocco.

It considered that these decisions left many of those who were subjected to deportation astonished and dissatisfied, despite having the documents and visa.

The newspaper reported that the sudden Emirati decision, which was implemented a few days ago, violates the Federal Decree-Law of 2021 regarding the entry and residence of foreigners.
