Sanaa intends to add new production lines to textile department of spinning factory

SANAA, Jan. 23 (YPA) – The Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment in Sanaa, Eng. Maeen Al-Mahaqri, argued the importance of adding new production lines to the textile department of the spinning and weaving factory to absorb local cotton from the farms of Tihama and Lahj.

This came during his visit on Wednesday to inspect the expansion of the textile production line at the factory in the capital, Sanaa.

The minister stressed the need to adopt an innovative vision that meets the needs of the local market while developing technical capabilities and factory departments to produce textiles that support the national clothing industry.

He also called for the rapid implementation of new investment projects by 2025, confirming the ministry’s support for the development plans of the institution and the factory.
