One member of STC factions killed, 2 others injured in sniper operation in Abyan

ABYAN, Dec. 18 (YPA) – One member of the UAE-backed Transitional Council factions was killed and two others injured, on Wednesday, in a sniper operation east of Abyan governorate.

Media sources affiliated with the coalition confirmed that unknown gunmen believed to belong to terrorist elements were able to kill one of the Transitional Council recruits and wound two others in a sniper operation targeted them in Wadi Omran in Maudiyah district.

The sources explained that the dead and injured were from the “Second Support and Reinforcement Brigade” factions, indicating that the sniper operation was followed by armed clashes in the area.
