BERLIN, Dec. 16 (YPA) – The Yemeni Students Union Abroad on Monday called on the government loyal to the Saudi-led coalition to pay scholarship students’ dues in full, which have been suspended since 2023-2024.
In a statement issued by it, the union condemned the government’s noticeable failure to deal with this important issue, pointing out that students on scholarship for the 2023 academic year have not received any dues yet.
The statement stressed that scholarship students suffer from financial burdens that greatly affect their psychology, which negatively affects their academic performance.
The union’s statement emphasized the need to investigate the causes of negligence and unjustified delay, hold those responsible accountable, and work to find urgent solutions.
The union called on the government to pay graduates’ tickets, tuition fees, book allowances, and printing allowances for delegates in accordance with the law.
