Saudi warplanes launch airstrikes on Saada, Taiz

PROVINCES, Sept. 24 (YPA) – Saudi warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on several areas in the Yemeni provinces of Saada and Taiz early Thursday, according to local sources.

In Saada, a Saudi airstrike targeted the telecommunications network in the center of Qatabir district, while three others hit Maran district.

Earlier, a woman was killed and a girl was injured when Saudi forces launched artillery shelling of their home in the Al-Izd area of the border district of Razih.

In Taiz, Saudi warplanes carried out two airstrikes on the Haifan district.

A local source said the two airstrikes targeted Al-Junaidah cemetery in the Al-Ahkoum area of Haifan district.
