BAGHDAD, Dec. 16 (YPA) – Iraq’s government has escalated its warnings about the deteriorating security situation in Syria after the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime and its repercussions on the region in general and Iraq in private.
In a statement, the government renewed its concerns about the repercussions of the deteriorating security situation, especially in light of the ongoing aggression of armed groups supported by the Turkish regime against the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which is responsible for securing the prisons of the terrorist organization ISIS inside the Al-Hawl camp in northeastern Syria.
