US forces storm Central Prison, 17th Division Headquarters north of Raqqa

DAMASCUS, Dec. 12 (YPA) -The US occupation forces, accompanied by senior officers and armored vehicles, stormed the Central Prison and the 17th Division headquarters north of Raqqa city.

Syrian activists on social media shared photos of the American armored vehicles as they moved through the streets of Raqqa.

The 17th Division site is considered one of the most important former Syrian army locations in northern Syria, as it is fortified and contains the chemical, artillery, and special forces battalions.
