Israeli airstrikes, bombings target several towns in southern Lebanon

LEBANON, Sept. 19 (YPA) – Israeli occupation warplanes launched airstrikes on Saturday targeting the outskirts of Srbine and Wadi Al-Hujair in the Bint Jbeil District of Southern Lebanon, while the outskirts of Yohmor Al-Chqif and Zawtar Al-Charqiyeh came under intermittent artillery shelling.

Israeli occupation forces burned additional homes in the town of Al-Mansouri, targeted Wadi Zbkine with artillery shelling, and carried out controlled detonations in the towns of Meiss Ej-Jabal, Markaba, Tallousseh, and Aitaroun.

In the Nabatieh Governorate, Israeli warplanes conducted two airstrikes on the Old Square neighborhood in Nabatieh Al-Fawqa. A third strike targeted an emergency medical services team en route to the site of the initial strikes; the team members narrowly escaped harm.

These attacks occur amid ongoing Israeli bombardment across various areas in Southern Lebanon, accompanied by demolition operations, bulldozing, and reports of casualties.
