Al-Hirak Al-Janoubi calls for overthrowing STC headquarters in Aden

ADEN, Dec. 07 (YPA) – Al-Hirak Al-Janoubi (Southern Movement) called on the honorable people of Aden and the southern provinces to overthrow the headquarters of the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) in al-Maashiq Palace in the city of Aden.

Abdul-Rahman Al-Wali, a politician in the Southern Movement and academic at the University of Aden, said in a post on “X” that the real change in the conditions of the south begins with reforming Goldmore area, where is used as the headquarters of the STC, referring to the leaders of the STC.

He called for the honorable members of the STC the formation of a “unified southern front,” indicating that this step would will isolate what he called “legitimacy” in Maashiq Palace.

Al-Wali accused some of the STC leaders present in Goldmore of protecting the coalition-affiliated Aden government.

He pointed out that the suffering of the citizens in the southern provinces lies in the ranks of their scattered leadership.
