SHABWA, Nov. 28 (YPA) – Armed confrontations broke out on Thursday in Shabwa province in eastern Yemen, which is under the control of UAE-backed factions, leaving one dead and several others wounded.
Informed sources in the province reported that the armed clashes occurred between the Al Mahdi and Al Bajahi tribes in Baihan district, resulting in the death of one militant named Saleh Al-Abd Al-Jarmi.
The clashes are still ongoing between the two parties for reasons of revenge between members of the two tribes, according to the sources.
Security chaos has dominated the various districts of Shabwa due to the absence of state authorities since the beginning of 2016.
