Israeli ban on UNRWA work tries to obliterate int’l witness to Palestinian refugee issue

BEIRUT, Nov. 05 (YPA) – Hamas leader, Osama Hamdan said on Monday that the Zionist occupation’s ban on the work of the UNRWA comes in the context of its attempt to obliterate the international witness to the Palestinian refugee issue.

In a televised speech, he confirmed that the occupation has continued to insist on rebellion and disregard for all international resolutions and covenants, which makes it a rogue entity.

Hamdan called on the International Criminal Court to prosecute the enemy’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his team as war criminals, noting that the scandal of leaks from Netanyahu’s office indicates the manipulation of documents to justify “the crime of genocide against the Palestinian people.

He added that the Zionist enemy is intensifying its aggression on the northern Gaza Strip by killing, starving and besieging more than 100,000 civilians with the goal of displacing them and emptying the entire northern areas of their people.

Hamdan held the international community fully responsible for the continued brutal crimes committed by the Zionist enemy against our people in the Strip.

He called on the international community to force the Zionist enemy to stop targeting the health sector in the entire Gaza Strip.

Hamdan concluded by saying, “Hamas still stresses that the key to reaching an agreement that stops the aggression and achieves a swap deal is to return to the June 2 agreement, the terms of which the movement agreed to.”
