GAZA, Oct. 22 (YPA) – Osama Hamdan, a political leader in the Hamas movement, said on Tuesday that the Israeli occupation forces are continuing to escalate all forms of war on the Gaza Strip.
Hamdan explained during a press conference that the Israeli occupation forces seek to exterminate the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip or forcibly displace them, preventing any chance of life in the northern Strip, and execute everyone who moves in that area.
He denounced the international silence regarding the crimes committed by the occupation in northern Gaza and called on the UN Security Council to take immediate action to protect the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Hamdan affirmed that the one-month deadline that the American administration granted to the occupation confirms its partnership in the war on Gaza.
He addressed US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, stating that the Palestinian people have the right to decide their fate after the war.
Hamdan concluded his statements by emphasizing the demands of the Palestinian people, including the complete withdrawal of the occupation, stopping the aggression, and lifting the siege on the Gaza Strip.
