Hezbollah intensifies targeting of Israeli forces on Lebanese border

BEIRUT, Oct. 13 (YPA) – The Lebanese Hezbollah intensified its military operations on Sunday against Israeli forces on the Lebanese-Palestinian border.

In multiple statements, the resistance explained that its fighters targeted an armored vehicle near the Ramia site with a guided missile, hitting it directly and leaving its crew dead and wounded. They also targeted a gathering of enemy soldiers in the vicinity of Ramia with guided missiles, causing additional casualties.

Moreover, they shelled a gathering of enemy soldiers at the “Tal Shaar” site with artillery. “The fighters of the Islamic Resistance detonated an explosive device targeting a force of Israeli soldiers and clashed with them as they attempted to infiltrate the town of Ramia, resulting in casualties. The clashes are ongoing, utilizing medium weapons and machine guns,” Hezbollah stated.

They also detonated an explosive device against another group of Israeli soldiers attempting to infiltrate the Tal Al-Medwar area in Ramia, inflicting casualties.

Earlier in the day, Hezbollah fighters bombarded enemy positions in “Mi’ilya” with a rocket barrage and targeted a gathering of soldiers in the “Manara” settlement.

Furthermore, they attacked a gathering of Israeli forces in the “Shoumera” settlement and in “Khallet Warda” with rocket barrages. The fighters also targeted the “Zarit” barracks with rockets, including a Burkan rocket, hitting it directly.

In its statement, Hezbollah stressed that the operations came “in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people.”

On the enemy side, Israeli media admitted that at least 11 soldiers, including 4 in critical condition, were transferred to hospitals due to a serious security incident on the northern border with Lebanon.

According to enemy media, two military helicopters were seen landing at Rambam Hospital in Haifa. Sirens sounded in dozens of settlements in the Western Galilee, Central Galilee, Nahariya, Haifa, and Krayot. The media reported that 35 rockets were fired from Lebanon towards the Western Galilee during the early hours after midnight.
