LONDON, Aug. 23 (YPA) – A protest march took place in Shenston, Staffordshire, England, demanding the closure of a factory belonging to the Israeli arms manufacturer Elbit Systems on Saturday.
Protesters gathered near the company’s UAV Engines facility, calling for a halt to the production of weapons and equipment they say are used in Israeli military operations against Palestinians, and an end to military cooperation with the occupation.
It should be noted that the protest was organized by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign in Britain.
In New York, anti-Zionist activists rallied in front of the Israeli Consulate General in Manhattan to protest the ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestinians, while the police arrested several participants for obstructing traffic.
These actions are part of ongoing protests in Britain and the United States targeting companies and institutions linked to the Israeli arms industry or accused of supporting the occupation.
