Worldwide protests erupt in solidarity with Gaza

WORLD, Oct. 13 (YPA) – Tens of thousands of protestors Saturday took to the streets in several cities and capitals worldwide to condemn the ongoing Israeli genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip.

People took to the streets in the French capital of Paris, the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur, Manchester in the UK, Germany’s capital of Berlin and city of Wolfsburg, the Danish city of Aarhus and capital of Copenhagen, Sweden’s capital of Stockholm and cities of Helsingborg and Malmö, the Italian city of Milano and in Turkey’s Istanbul to denounce one year of genocide in Gaza and to amplify the overarching call for Palestinian liberation.

Protestors raised flags of Palestine, shouted slogans and displayed pro-Palestine posters as they marched to mark the one-year anniversary of the Israeli genocidal war, which resulted in killing at least 42,175 Palestinians and injuring over 98,336 others.

They slammed double standards and selective application of international law and stressed the need to hold accountable the Israeli occupation and officials for the crimes they perpetrated against the Palestinian people and their land and properties.
