Missile attack targets US Victoria military base in Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Oct. 01 (YPA) -The Victoria military base, housing US forces near Baghdad International Airport, came under missile attack early Tuesday morning, according to local sources.

According to “Al-Mayadeen,” the American military camp was attacked, and as of now, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

Reports noted that four consecutive explosions were heard near the camp, accompanied by the sound of sirens.

This attack comes as the US administration continues its military and political support for the Israeli entity in its aggression against Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen, and Syria.

Additionally, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq said that it had carried out several operations against the Israeli enemy in northern and central occupied Palestine on Monday, using drones and developed cruise missiles.
