You telecom director injured in Taiz Islah attack

TAIZ, Sept. 29 (YPA) – Director of YOU Telecom Company branch, Sami Yahiya Abdul-Elah Al-Qassar, was injured on Sunday after being assaulted in the Islah Party militants-held city of Taiz.

Human rights sources reported that Islah militants arrived in a military vehicle bearing the picture of the leader “Hamoud Al-Mikhlafi” and two civilian cars and violently assaulted Al-Qassar in the Al-Barara region in Al-Mudhaffar district.

The sources pointed out that the citizens present in the accident had thwarted the kidnapping of Al-Qassar by the gunmen and took him to one of hospitals.
