Military commander loyal to coalition killed in Midi front

HAJJAH, July 18 (YPA) – A military commander loyal to the Saudi-led coalition was killed in clashes with the Yemeni army in Hajjah province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.

Mustafa al-Dhifi, the snipers’ officer at the so-called Second Brigade guards, along with several of his companions were killed during an offensive carried out by the army fighters against the coalition-backed militants’ positions in Midi front.

The official added that the militias suffered heavy losses in life and gear during the confrontations.
