OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Sept. 01 (YPA) – Families of Israeli hostages in Gaza said that Israel would be “shaken” following reports of more bodies being found, which are believed to be of hostages who were previously alive.
The families issued a statement accusing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of abandoning the hostages, asserting that the discovery of these bodies is proof of this abandonment.
They warned that the country would face significant turmoil starting Sunday and called on the public to prepare and disrupt the state, promising to provide more details in the morning.
Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid criticized Netanyahu for focusing on political maneuvers and coalition maintenance rather than addressing the crisis with the hostages.
Lapid accused Netanyahu of neglecting the hostages’ plight and prioritizing political survival over their safety.
The families previously claimed that Netanyahu and security cabinet members turned the “Philadelphia Axis” into a “grave for the hostages.”
They argued that staying in Philadelphia was not a strategic decision but rather a political one aimed at preserving Netanyahu’s position.
The families of the hostages demanded Netanyahu’s immediate removal from office as the only solution to save the hostages, accusing him of sabotaging any potential deal to free them.
Several demonstrations are being organized in Tel Aviv and other locations against Netanyahu’s government, demanding an immediate prisoner exchange deal.
