SAYRIA, July 06 (YPA) – The U.S. forces deployed on Saturday new military reinforcements to their military bases in northeastern Syria, with continuing their military and logistical operations in the region.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said a large military convoy, comprising almost 70 trucks, entered the international coalition’s Kharab al-Jir base in the Hasakah countryside, coming from the al-Walid border crossing with the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
The convoy was accompanied by intensive military helicopter flights to secure the convoy’s route.
These reinforcements come hours after US forces dispatched another military convoy of 20 trucks to the Qasrak base north of Hasakah, by the same border crossing.
Some sources affirmed that the convoys included military and logistical equipment, including cement blocks, fuel tankers, and several bulldozers, as part of ongoing logistical support for international coalition bases deployed in the region.
