AL QUDS, July 31 (YPA) – A general strike swept on Wednesday the streets of the occupied West Bank on Wednesday in response to the assassination of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh during his visit to the Iranian capital Tehran.
The strike came in response to calls of the political forces and factions, unions and civil institutions, to express anger over the assassination’s crime, addition to governmental and civil institutions and shops are closed doors.
The West Bank’s mosques mourned the leader Haniyeh and read the Hamas statement, vccalling called for participation in the general strike.
On Wednesday, Hamas announced the martyrdom of its political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh, in an Israeli raid that targeted his residence in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
