UNPF: Malnutrition in Gaza poses great danger to newborns

GAZA, July 22 (YPA) – The United Nations Population Fund (UNPF) confirmed on Sunday that “malnutrition in Gaza poses a great danger to pregnant women and newborns.”

The UN Fund added, in a post on X platform that “it has become increasingly common for the birth of low-weight babies in Gaza.”

“Malnutrition in Gaza poses a great danger to pregnant women and newborns, amid an increase in stillbirths, low-weight children, and others suffering from wasting and delayed growth.”
