UAE uses deadly methods to displace residents of Abdul-Kuri Island in Socotra

SOCOTRA, June 04 (YPA) – Local sources on Socotra Island, southern Yemen, accused the UAE the UAE on Tuesday of committing a mass crime against the people of Abdul-Kuri Island in the Socotra Archipelago province, east of the Gulf of Aden.

The sources confirmed that the so-called “Khalifa Foundation” distributed spoiled food to the people of the island with the aim of indirectly displacing them from the island.

According to the sources, Khalifa Hospital received dozens of cases of food poisoning patients to be transported via an Emirati transport plane outside the island, perhaps to Hadibu, the center of the archipelago.

It is noteworthy that the UAE worked to displace the residents of Abdul-Kuri Island to the ‘Qusayr’ area in Hadramout province before establishing a joint military base with the Zionist entity on the island in 2020.

A number of families refused to leave Abdul-Kuri Island, so those families were taken out and transferred after they were exposed to food poisoning after eating spoiled food that was in the “Khalifa Foundation” stores.
