Egypt warns of dangerous American plan near its border

CAIRO, May 21 (YPA) – Former Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister, Ambassador Rakha Ahmed Hassan, and a member of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, warned of the American floating port in the Gaza Strip.

He told RT that the port comes in line with the Israeli-American plan to invade the Palestinian city of Rafah, noting that there was an agreement between Washington and Tel Aviv that the Israeli invasion would be parallel to the removal of the displaced from the Rafah, in order to mitigate a high population density.

He explained that the floating port has about 2,000 American soldiers, and among their goals will be to monitor the Gaza coast, to prevent the entry of any military aid to the Palestinians, as well as aid to Israel and the entry of weapons directly to the Israeli army present in Gaza.
