GAZA, May 21 (YPA) – The Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced on Tuesday the implementation of a series of operations in areas of the northern Gaza Strip, which resulted in the killing of a number of Israeli occupation army soldiers and the destruction of its tanks and military vehicles.
The Al-Qassam Brigades said that its mujahideen reported, after returning from the battle lines in the Tal al-Zaatar area in the northern Gaza Strip, that a “shock” device had been detonated against a number of occupation soldiers, leaving them dead and wounded in the vicinity of Al-Bashir Mosque.
The Mujahideen also reported targeting five Zionist soldiers with a hand grenade and finishing them off from point zero in the vicinity of the Omar bin Al-Khattab Mosque in the Tal Al-Zaatar area.
The Mujahideen confirmed that a Zionist tank was targeted with a guerrilla action device and that an anti-personnel “television” device was detonated against a group of occupation soldiers in the same place in the vicinity of the Omar bin Al-Khattab Mosque, and a special Zionist force barricaded inside a house was hit with an anti-fortified TBG shell, killing and wounding its members in Tal al-Zaatar as well.
After their return from the battle lines east of the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, the Al-Qassam mujahideen reported the targeting of three Zionist “Merkvah” tanks with “Al-Yassin 105” shells.
Al-Qassam Mujahideen also managed to detonate an anti-personnel device in a Zionist foot force, killing and wounding its members in the middle of the Jabalia camp.
The Al-Qassam Brigades destroyed an enemy headquarters southwest of Gaza City with mortar shells.
