ANKARA, May 09 (YPA) – Turkey has retracted the decision to ban exports to the Israeli occupation, which it had taken six days ago, and today allowed companies to export to Israel, but through third countries, trade sources reported on Thursday.
A source in the Turkish Ministry of Trade said, “Turkey will allow companies that have agreements with Israel to export to it via third countries for a period of 3 months after suspending trade.”
Reuters quoted the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Zionist entity, Yisrael Katz, as saying today that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has retreated from his previous position and lifted many of the trade restrictions that he imposed on the entity.
Turkey, the most prominent trade partner of the Zionist entity, announced on Friday that it would not resume trade, estimated at about seven billion dollars annually, with Israel until a permanent ceasefire is reached and humanitarian aid is provided in the Gaza Strip.
