OCCUPIED PALESTINE, March 04 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces on Monday stormed the city of Tulkarm, and caused damages to its infrastructure.
According to Palestinian sources, a large military force, accompanied by huge bulldozers, stormed the city from its western entrances, all the way to Nour Shams refugee camp.
They added that the occupation forces fired bullets and tear gas bombs as they passed through.
The occupation forces pushed large military reinforcements of their vehicles and bulldozers towards Nour Shams camp, and imposed a tight cordon on it, before storming its neighborhoods.
The occupation bulldozers razed and caused damages to the infrastructure in the camp’s streets, and part of a new street on its outskirts.
Confrontations broke out between youths and occupation soldiers amid heavy gunfire, while successive explosions were heard in the camp.
An Israeli bulldozer attempted to run over one of the young men while he was on the sidewalk in the vicinity of Al-Younis roundabout, north of Tulkarm, but he managed to escape and was not injured, according to the sources.
