Sanaa releases Sudanese captive of Saudi-led coalition for humanitarian reasons

SANAA, April 08 (YPA) – Sanaa announced on Tuesday the release of a Sudanese war prisoner of the Saudi-led coalition forces for humanitarian reasons.

The head of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs in Sanaa, Abdulqader Al-Mortada, explained that the release of Sudanese prisoner Musa Abdulrahman Ahmed Mohammed was based on humanitarian motives.

He noted via his account on the “X” platform that the Sudanese prisoner was handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross, which undertook the task of transporting him to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and from there to his homeland.

Al-Mortada also explained that this step came in accordance with the directives of Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi.
