SANAA, April 08 (YPA) – The British newspaper, The Telegraph, reported that pro-Palestinian activists placed children’s shrouds in front of the home of British Foreign Secretary David Lammy, demanding an embargo on arms sales to Israel.
Two activists from the organization “Youth Demands” placed children’s coffins on the doorstep of the British Foreign Secretary’s home and hoisted a banner over his fence reading “Lammy, stop arming genocide.”
The newspaper pointed out that the government’s current position is that Israel’s actions in Gaza pose a clear risk of violating international humanitarian law.
Youth Demands, a new organization that includes various pro-Palestinian and environmental groups, previously came under fire for protesting outside Sir Keir Starmer’s home in north London.
