ADEN, Jan. 31 (YPA) – A senior leader was kidnapped on Wednesday after his home being stormed in the center of the city of Aden, south of Yemen.
Deputy Secretary-General of the Nasserite Correction Organization, Khaled Jalal Ali Ahmed Dhabyan al-Awlaki was kidnapped in Mualla area by the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias in the city, according to the Southern Revolutionary Movement,” Mohammed al-Numani, in a post on the “X” platform.
The storming of Al-Awlaki’s house sparked panic among women and children, indicating that Al-Awlaki’s fate is still unknown to his family.
Al-Numani pointed out that the kidnapped, the son of Jalal Ali Ahmed Dhabyan Al-Awlaki, a fighter in the liberation war against the British occupation, and one of the sons of Aden participating in confronting the Zionist entity in Jordan and Beirut, had died in 2000.
